THE COMPANY AND SERVICES LEVELS
Harris
Professional Service SL trading as HPS Finance Professionals
are UK fully qualified advisers who subscribe
to the UK business standards of lending and advisory
practice as laid down by the Mortgage Code Compliance
Board and the FSA in the UK.
Currently, Spain does not have any formal regulations
to use as a standard, so we have adopted the UK principals
in order to give you advise levels that are of the
highest standard in Europe.
There are three levels of advice available in the UK
and here, they are as follows:
(a) Advice and recommendation – on which of the
mortgages they can provide is the most suitable for
you. (This is across lenders and products)
(b) Information on the different types of mortgage
product – on offer so that you can make an informed
choice of which to take. (This is from one lender with
several products)
(c) Information on a single mortgage product only – If
only one mortgage is available or if you have already
made up your mind. (This is the most narrow advise
and typically from the one lender).
We offer advise at the highest level advise and recommendation
from many lenders and products.
PRODUCT SELECTION
We will always act on your behalf and with our links
across the market select the most suitable lender and
product for your needs.
FEES
We
will not charge you any fees up front. Our payment will
come from the lenders we deal with and varies
from lender to lender.
If you wish to know the amount please ask and we will
let you know.
In certain circumstances ,we reserve the right to charge
a fee and if this situation occurs you will be informed
prior to submitting any application.
DATA PROTECTION
We
will keep all your information private and confidential
(Even when you are no longer a customer), except where
disclosure
is made at your request or with your consent.
In order to process your application it may be necessary
to disclose your information to third parties who may
hold this information indefinitely.
We may also obtain advice and guidance from professional
advisers. On these occasions, you agree that personal
information held by us may be disclosed on a confidential
basis and in accordance with the UK data protection
act 1998 to such third parties. You also agree that
this information may be transferred electronically
via e-mail. You also agree that ourselves, or any such
company , may contact you in the future by any means
of communication which we consider appropriate at the
time. Under the terms of the data protection act, you
have the right to view any personal data we may keep
on you.
COMPLAINTS
If
you experience any problems we will endeavour to resolve
them to your satisfaction. Should this not
be possible please write to Harris Professional Service
SL at C/Doctor Esteban San Mateo,No 10/E 29670 San
Pedro de Alcantara (Malaga) and we will consult our
lawyers and PII Insurers.
